As part of the AI, Technology and Society campaign 2025, I produced a research video with Dr Nils Peters and presenter Indira Ray, unpacking the fragile infrastructure powering artificial intelligence. We explored the hidden supply chains behind AI, from rare earth mining and semiconductor production to the massive energy demands fueling the technology, revealing how geopolitics and hardware bottlenecks could disrupt the systems we increasingly depend on.
