About me

Documentary filmmaking taught me how to find the story in real moments and in the small unscripted details that reveal everything. I bring that instinct to everything I do, whether I'm editing branded content, directing a documentary, or structuring a complex explainer.

My path started in Amsterdam, where I co-founded the creative platform ten-thirty, before moving to London for an MA in documentary directing at the National Film and Television School. I directed and shot documentaries about the significant choices that shape people's lives. My films screened at festivals internationally and were nominated for the Grierson and the International Documentary Association awards.

Then I discovered editing. There's something about shaping a story in post-production, discovering what the film is really about, that captivated me completely. Editing became where I could have the most impact and create something that resonates with people.

These days I partner with global organisations, NGOs, production companies, and agencies across the Netherlands, the UK, and internationally. My recent work has received multiple Lovie Awards, including a People's Lovie, and the LSE iQ podcast I co-produce won the Independent Podcast Award 2024. I create everything from branded films and animated explainers to social-first edits and longer-form documentaries.

My documentary instinct runs through everything I do — a focus on authenticity, emotion, and the moments that make people care. I work across the full production spectrum, from concept and strategy through to final delivery.
